Community and charity

Giving something back

Here at NFP, an Aon company, we take pride in the fact that we are mindful of our impact on the wider community and those that call it home.

This year, we’re once again supporting a number of local initiatives and national organisations, such as Birmingham Dogs Home, Envision and Let’s Feed Brum, to demonstrate our commitment to making the world around us a better place.

Supporting local charities

As well as making NFP a great place to work for our colleagues, we want to ensure that we are making a difference in our local communities, too. That’s why we encourage all our people to make a commitment to local charities and community initiatives.

Our 2026 charity partners

In 2025, our colleagues raised an incredible £12,514 for our charity partners. We look forward to building on this success with more fundraising and community activity throughout 2026.

We’re proud to continue our support for Let’s Feed Brum and Birmingham Dogs Home as our chosen charities for 2026. After seeing the incredible impact of our partnership in 2025, we’re proud to extend our support with two organisations whose missions strongly reflect our values and commitment to our local communities.

Birmingham Dogs Home

Birmingham Dogs Home provides round-the-clock care for stray, abandoned and relinquished dogs across the West Midlands and South Staffordshire, giving them the care and second chance they deserve.

What is Envision?

Envision is a charity that provides a practical learning experience to young people, enabling them to develop the skills they need to succeed in work and life. In return, the young people invest their time to develop projects which give back to the community.

A group of our people have been volunteering their time to Envision, which involves teaming up with a group of students to give them advice on confidence and public speaking, as well as help them decide what community project they wanted to be involved with. The students our people mentored went on to win the Spring 2023 Culture and Diversity presentation award at the Envision programme presentation evening, so it was a really rewarding experience for everyone involved.
