Continuing our ‘Life Stories’ series about amazing people building successful lives through adversity, we’ll be joined by Steve Brown who after a spinal injury at the age of 23 has gone on to be a highly successful Paralympic sportsman and award-winning TV presenter. He will be telling his story and taking questions.

Steve Brown Paralympian and TV presenter

Steve is a former celebrated Paralympian who played a key role at the London 2012 Games. Following a life-changing spinal injury at age 23, Steve’s resilience saw him rise to the top of elite sport, before transitioning into a successful career in broadcasting. He is now a regular presenter on BBC’s Escape to the Country and formerly Countryfile, he is a respected commentator and advocate for inclusion, leadership, and overcoming adversity. Off-screen, Steve is a motivational speaker, mentor, and ambassador for various youth and disability charities.
