NFP Partners with the Netball Players Association to Champion Women's Leadership in Sports and Business

NFP and the NPA will deliver Athlete Wellbeing Programme, Your Quarter, and workplace solutions to support women on and off the court

Birmingham, 6th January, 2026 –

NFP, an Aon Company and leading international insurance brokerage and consulting firm, today announced its partnership with the Netball Players Association (NPA), the representative body for professional and semi-professional netball players in the UK. The partnership brings together NFP’s commitment to employees, businesses and communities with the NPA’s mission to empower players on and off the court, aligning shared values and purpose to champion the advancement of women.

The partnership will usher in the development and delivery of the NPA Athlete Wellbeing Programme, Your Quarter, offering education for members across key areas of women's health that are particularly important for elite athletes, while also providing individual access to treatments and tests when specific needs are identified.

“Elite athletes face unique challenges that mirror those of high-performing professionals,” said Matt Pawley, President of NFP Europe. “This important initiative allows us to directly invest in the health and wellbeing of elite athletes while deepening our understanding of what high performance truly demands, whether on the netball court or in the workplace. The insights we gain will drive stronger workplace solutions that help our clients and women everywhere build healthier, higher-performing workplaces."

Over the next three years, the programme will support female athletes in managing their health, wellbeing and career development through NFP’s expertise and resources, ensuring every elite netballer in the Netball Super League and NXT Gen league can access health and wellbeing support when needed.

“Many of our players balance their netball careers with full- or part-time work, and the health challenges they face, from injury management to hormonal health and fertility management, are shared by women across all industries,” said Netball Players Association CEO, Liz Bloor. “This partnership addresses those needs directly and I am delighted to see NFP not only supporting women in sport with tangible resources but delivering on their commitment to women's wellbeing overall."

As part of the programme, NFP will create a series of packages for clients that support women (and athletes) in the workplace. These services will incorporate financial education, healthcare, benefits and career. The mix will include fertility, peri-menopause, screening, and wearable technology for health forecasting, as well as emotional wellbeing, mental health, coaching and neurodiversity resources. Career services will include corporate learning focused on pay transparency, inclusive culture, legal best practice, and training on lifestage health, unconscious bias, and succession planning.

This announcement builds on NFP's track record of supporting women in sport, including the company's support of the Women's Rugby Team in Canada, and reinforces its position as a leader in creating inclusive, supportive environments where women can thrive.
