Key outcomes

  • Senior leadership structure reshaped to support future growth
  • Internal talent promoted into key leadership positions
  • Clear organisational design aligned to long-term strategy

The challenge

MyTAG had reached a pivotal stage in its growth. While the business remained proudly family-run, its existing structure and leadership model were no longer sufficient to support the next phase of expansion.

To move forward, the organisation needed to evolve its strategy, leadership capacity and ways of working, without losing the culture and values that had driven its success.

This transition required careful balancing. Internal leaders needed to step into new roles, the senior leadership team had to be reshaped, and selective external hiring was required to close capability gaps.

All of this needed to be delivered while maintaining business-as-usual operations, sustaining momentum and ensuring existing employees felt supported through change.

Key challenges included:

  • Redesigning organisational structure without disrupting what already worked
  • Supporting the CEO to move into a more strategic leadership role
  • Reshaping the senior leadership team while maintaining trust and stability
  • Integrating new leadership roles within a close-knit, family-run business

The solution

NFP partnered with the organisation to deliver a comprehensive outplacement and career transition programme, led by a dedicated project manager embedded within the client team throughout the closure period.

Support was tailored to individual circumstances, helping employees identify their next step and build a practical plan to achieve it. Whether securing a new role, launching a business or preparing for retirement, employees had access to ongoing support throughout the transition and beyond.

Our approach included:

  • Delivering one-to-one outplacement coaching, career workshops, resilience support and unlimited access to NFP's online career centre
  • Providing enhanced executive outplacement support through dedicated, peer-matched career coaches for senior leaders
  • Supporting HR teams, employee representatives and managers through consultation training, communications and change leadership workshops
